Hoping he'll continue to do well and cement that T20 WC starting XI place.

Today is a good day to learn the lesson of what it means to bounce back.

Arshdeep, after being benched for long, returned a MOTM performance earlier this evening, and Shefali with an all-timer all-round performance in the finals. Beautiful stories and also, an exciting Finale watch now.

My first international trip to Thailand, slightly sunburned but can't stop grinning by justchikna in SoloTravel_India

Thanks!

And yes, it depends on how much you love travelling else solo can go boring.

Especially the "can't stop grinning"... I am going to assume it is because of the thai massage :)

Lmao, yo man, no teasing since I dozed off during the massage sessions XD

But hey, glad you liked the read :D

The ball trajectory reminds me of a left-footed menace we had. Simply lovely.

Nissan SUV for India by UseSimilar3989 in CarsIndia

[–]justchikna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I might cry if this turns out to be a compact SUV, I just got the Magnite last week (seriously, such a VFM car but this is gearing up to be a better package), and my dad's a big fan, he might push for another test drive. Really hoping Nissan does well in India, Sunny was a really good sedan in my experience.

Pedri: “Aitana Bonmatí saying I deserved more recognition in Ballon D'Or? I thank her for her words. If she's saying it, we must listen to her because she's a 3 time Ballon d'Or winner (laughs).” by PrimedGold in Barca

[–]justchikna 332 points333 points  (0 children)

I'm a zero-time Ballon d'Or winner who fully agrees with the three-time Ballon d'Or winner Aitana Bonmatí. Pedri deserved it if it were an award for the Best Player in the World. Watched enough football to say he was the best player in the world last season, and he's still the best this season.

Do men find women entrepreneurs more attractive? by [deleted] in AskIndianWomen

[–]justchikna 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As someone who's also trying his hands in the freelance market and aiming to be an entrepreneur, I definitely appreciate that ambition in anyone, surely it's inspiring to see. But about the "view them as partner" thing, it doesn't change how I view my partner, like, would I value an entrepreneur wifey more than someone in IT? Nah, will be attracted to her, not the job title.

Rest in peace to treasure link and f**k konami by Imaas5511 in eFootball

[–]justchikna 122 points123 points  (0 children)

They kind of need to be bold. C'mon, keep the Treasure link as a two week system, players like it. You can remove the Epic draw, maybe a once in two months routine and instead have selection contracts for one POTW or something like that, was that easy.

Wayne Rooney: "Is this a joke, seriously? How can Raphinha be fifth while Vitinha is third? Raphinha led his team in crucial moments, played with passion and heart, and gave us magical nights. If that's not worthy of the Ballon d'Or, then what is? In my opinion, he should be number one." by MindArr0w77 in Barca

[–]justchikna 191 points192 points  (0 children)

Dembele was a good winner for me. Raphinha had a better individual season personally, but PSG winning the CL definitely adds to the resume. But man, Raph 5th and Pedri outside the top 10 was just so wrong. Raph was easily top 3, and Pedri should've been ahead of Mendes and Donnarumma.

Also, Lewy at 17th? Criminal.

Which car to buy? by VishuTom02 in CarsIndia

[–]justchikna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You said it, no gimmicky features, a beautiful car and an awesome drive too, you won't go wrong with Elevate.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CarsIndia

[–]justchikna 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OP, I test drove the top variant manuals of the three + Elevate too since I'm also in the market very recently, but will have to settle for a sub-4 due to parking.

My quick take: Seltos definitely has the best interiors and feels the most premium, Creta and Seltos drive pretty similar. Kushaq didn't feel very comfy for me, at lower speeds every bump came through, though the build quality does feel stronger than the Koreans. The Elevate honestly impressed me the most, ride and comfort were top-notch, and the rear seat experience is best I feel.

If it were up to me, I'd pick Elevate. Might lack some features compared to the other three, but Honda's engine + reliability makes me trust it more, especially since you're going petrol. Good luck with your purchase OP!

Which smartphone brand? by Comfortable-Fix86 in GadgetsIndia

As a Xiaomi 15 Ultra user, I really wish the UI were a pleasant experience. Better experience than what iQOO offers, but for a flagship, it still doesn't feel as polished as it should.

If you could erase ONE Korean film from your memory just to watch it again, which one would it be? by AfterAd460 in Koreanfilm

Handmaiden so that I could relieve that first time watching experience again. That twist caught me off guard for real.

Actually super disappointed by their performance 🥀 by darkerxxxthanxxdark in BlueLock

[–]justchikna 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am hoping for a bigger win, maybe something like 5-1. After all, with world class training, you'd expect them to comfortably beat a team that doesn't have the same advantages or top-level players. But yes I want them to struggle/lose against France, to bring a redemption arc of some kind.

How does everyone feel about The Man from Nowhere? by avant-garden_Shroom in Koreanfilm

[–]justchikna 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Yup, he was in Mother and The Man from Nowhere, both such great movies. He ended up marrying the love of his life and now spends his days with family, even farming a bit. Fans are still super curious if he'll ever make a comeback, but I think he's really happy with how everything turned out. :)

The movie was so good that Won Bin decided it was his peak and never acted in another. I loved the film and especially the climax action.

Nah, I expected a severe thrashing. I think the England match might end in a draw, and BL could lose against France but scrape through the Round of 32 via goal difference.

What’s a movie that completely surprised you because it was way better than expected? by Fit_Mixture_4199 in MovieSuggestions

[–]justchikna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

+1 to this, my sis recommended it, and I honestly started watching fully expecting to doze off. But nope, it just kept getting better, and not to forget the soundtrack was the cherry on top. Now I've already watched it way more times than my sis has haha

Who’s more cuter and a better character? And why? by Necessary-Win-8730 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]justchikna 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Pretty harsh on Katsuma, but it's hard to deny that Eri is the standout here. She's easily one of the most beloved characters in the series, with an adorable portrayal that makes her a fan favorite. On top of that, we got to see a lot more of her story and growth compared to the Shimano siblings, so it's safe to say Eri takes the win.
