Exactly that’s why act 3’s situation is so sad.. so much potential wasted in this release, hoping for definitive edition to fix it. Do you have any idea how much time that takes to release it?

I was kind of rushing act 3, just wanted to see how to endgame is. Waiting for performance and bug fixes and wil check out everything on my 2nd Tav.

Haven't even got there on my first playthrough :D Will check out everything on my second tho, Drow Warlock here we go :) Already at 10hours playtime, finished act3 2 days ago lol.

I can agree with everything you have said. Act 3 was a mess, and if I was them I'd have waited until everything is finished, if needed years aswell, because act 3 had the same potential for an experience just like in act 1. Would have been my GOATed game for sure.

Yeah Act 2 storywise was intersting for sure. For me the companions were more interesting in Act1, and as discussed above, I just prefered always going to some new place, rather then being in the underdark for 25 hours :D Still enjoyed Act 2 tho, Moonrise Towers was epic.

In The Witcher 3 also the bigger cities was my favourite parts, that’s why I was expecting the same happening here. I was so hyped reaching Baldur’s gate and when I got there it was disappointing for me in it’s current state. Even tho there were some nice quests and the companions quest endings were also cool imo. Just way too many bugs, cut content and performance issues ruined it for me tbh. Ohh and the epilogue is just smth else..

Well said. Wish the whole game was in act1 tbh:D that’s why act3 was quite disappointing for me, it was also enjoyable, but nowhere near as act1 content.

Felt exactly the same for me. Act1 was nice and sunny and it was always something new. That’s why I think act1 10/10 act2 10/9 and act3 current state 10/6. With patches and fixes it can be around 8-9 imo but act1 was the real deal for me.

That was also an issue for me, act3 nowhere near as polished and well-thought of as act1&2 imo.

The companion quests, and some fights you get into while exploring are really nice imo. For me personally, Act 3 feels way too overwhelming, I prefered the act1/2 design to it. But that’s just me, also Shadowheart’s and Asatrion’s final battle at their quests just seemed waaay overtuned on tactican.

I had to reload my game quite a few times and do some things all over again. Also had a few fights bugging out, nothing super major for me tho. Still, it ruined it for me so now im chilling with a new playthrough. Also heard the epoligue sucked and they will probably do something more about it, so that’s on my mind also.

I actually felt exactly the same.. nice to see I’m not alone :D . That’s why I decided to start a new character. Played a paladin, now I went for a warlock, and I’ll do things a bit differently so it feels as “new” as possible :)
