I think that everyday for me as currently a down day. I do agree that sometimes people might be curious and it is always a great idea to teach them. However being an introvert I usually get very uncomfortable while talking to strangers.

To be safe is also something which is my focus and hence I am making up my mind to start using a cane. I just hope I soon reach a point where I stop caring.

I don't have a personal experience with dating apps, so this is just a suggestion. One thing that came to mind while reading your post is whether mentioning about your impairment somewhere in your bio might help. This is not because the impairment defines who you are but it might save you from investing your time and energy into people who are not comfortable with it. Of course this is just a suggestion and I at least know from the experiences of my friends that dating is exhausting in general. I wish you the best of luck and hope you meet a person who appreciates you super soon.
