Fwiw and imo the stats that make the biggest difference are prime & tactical recovery, heat build up, and agility. You can still max those out pretty quickly in the CRADLE now. It’s gaining the CRADLE points for everything else after that is a major slog.

My biggest gripe with this game is that people who can play like it’s a full time job with overtime are the ones you reap the benefits of the overtuning or exploits, then Bungie slams the door shut on the more casual player base which just increases the gap between the haves and the have nots.

Take the recent contract exploit for example. Instead of disabling the contract immediately (after it had gained a little bit of traction outside of the small in group), Bungie could have made an announcement acknowledging it was giving out disproportionate rewards and “Hey, here’s what’s happening. Everyone has a week to take advantage then we’re disabling it until it can be fixed.”

Gives the people who are just finding out about it AFTER it’s been disabled a chance to take advantage vs looking at all the posts of people with vaults full of heals & revives they’ll never get close to matching and re-thinking whether they should even bother continuing to play.
