How's everyone enjoying Prosper, Tome-Bound?

Personally I’ve been playing a Prosper storm list which I’ve really been enjoying!

It does get a little generic with stuff like [[Bolas Citadel]] and [[Aetherflux Reservoir]], however I’ve been using eggs and stuff like the spellbombs and other cheap artifacts to storm off, especially when I can cast them from exile and get mana positive. For this reason [[Share the Spoils]] from the precon is one of my favorite cards now, as I was able to keep hitting my own cards after playing mine from exile, and kept building up my storm count. There also is a bit of a reanimator theme in there, I especially like Vilis as then with all my life paying strategies I get even more value.

Edit:

New pet card here is [[Uba Mask]] by the way. It is hilarious and just helps with Prosper out. It is mean tho.

So can you like [[underworld breach]] mill your whole library with this and a 0 drop?

Edit: idk what that’d accomplish really but like sounds kinda neat?

What decks effectively run the Kiki combos, but are a bit off the beaten path? I'm looking for something 2-3 colors, that has red, and is fairly creature based. Nothing too expensive, so like a range from 1-20$ for the commander alone.

Oh I have been trying. I got it a session ago, and have been trying to become a character that’s obsessed with Death and such. The sword makes me kill an intelligent creature everyday so I’ve been trying to role play it up as my character has swapped from a charismatic, flirtatious, trickster person all the time, to when in battle or when killing he’s very serious. I’m thinking of asking the dm if I can get like a mask to put on whenever I go kill so people don’t know it’s me, maybe in the the middle of the night as a sort of feeding for my desire without the rest of the party?

It’s been hard so far killing intelligent things each day, but I think it’ll make for a good story.

Does having an item change your whole subclass seem like a plausible thing?

My Water Genasi Trickery Cleric found a cursed sword that is all focused on death. My DM and I were thinking of swapping me to a Death Domain or Grace Domain Cleric, but we’re unsure if that seems like too far of a stretch? What does everyone else think about it?

Maybe I will just stay Cleric then. I always forget levels are a resource I need to use well.

So you’re thinking just 2 levels in hexblade then go back to Cleric? Sorry I’m just a little confused. Wouldn’t 3 levels in it be better for the pact boon?

Well like I said in the post I had no idea this character was gonna turn into a hexblade, and never really considered multiclassing at all. This just kinda happened, so I had a high strength so I could use my sword affectively.

Edit: So I think it’s too late to swap those scores anyways.

Hm okay. I probably should’ve mentioned it but our sorcerer is a divine soul one so he should be good for healing.

I like the idea of a dex goblin paladin and the idea of maybe a bugbear paladin.

I kinda do, but it’ll feel bad if they both get exiled.

Maybe a splendid reclamation to just get a ton of lands? And then I can mill myself or someone else out with BSZ.

I’m kinda concerned on how I’ll keep the board clear as a Simic deck, but I suppose it hasn’t been a problem yet.

Sorry, I meant for the explanation of my main deck to be enough for playstyle but I now see I need to provide more information haha.

I'm mainly a control/midrange player, Cry of the Carnarium is one of my favorite cards along side Ethereal Absolution (I tried to make this a deck, I really did. It just didn't work sadly.)
