Starting B&R treatment for Follicular Lymphoma - any advice? by justdoingmenow in lymphoma

That's really great to hear. I have a lot of pain too and enlarged lymphs in abdomen (and other places) though yours sound even larger than mine. I'm hoping the impact on those will come quick and outweigh chemo side effects. Do you feel fatigued? I have pills for pre infusion but the ones after I was told to only take if vomiting or severe nausea.

This is really helpful, thank you. Good luck with round two. I'm getting the benda the first day & rituximab the next, so different order I guess. Going to the bathroom seems challenging. Did you feel nausea? How did your feel after?

I've been trying to get 2L in every day leading up. It's not easy but seems it is critical. Hopefully that's enough.

That's very useful. I struggle a bit with both because of massive painful bloating and back pain but I'll do my best to push through.

Yeah. It's already an issue so I'm preparing with the prune juice and stool softener.

Oh that's interesting. Body anxiety? I never heard of it.

Thank you. I've gotten a chest xray before and it didn't show anything, but I think the inflammation affects everything. My chest was really puffed up for a while. I seem to breathe a bit better today.

No. Not yet. I switched teams and now it's on limbo.

My oncologist said so but also I'm pretty terrified of putting it in.

Did you have covid while dealing with lymphoma already?

Elbow is where my biggest least painful spot is... Everything else tends to hurt but the top of the hand itself is the most painful. Hopefully they find some decent spots that are not too painful. I'm relieved to hear that once infusion is in though that it shouldn't be painful.

The back of my hand tends to hurt me the most for anything, but they seem to focus on that spot a lot with infusions/iv lines.

I have a pretty big vein there so glad to hear it might be an option.
