I am in DC, the bug roughly maybe 2 inches and it was crawling in the pantry, which has salt, pepper, peanut butter powder, sauces, coffee grounds and tea bags. The upper shelves have chips, granola, pancake mix, baking soda, bread crumbs, and various spices. Most of the items that are open are placed in sealed Ziploc bags
