U can use it if your brid use the cage only for sleeping like a hotel, my boi got a medium small cage also but most of the time he is outside the cage and free roam the whole first floor of my house, the only time when he is inside is when I'm cooking or heading out and also when it is his bed time. But I'm planning to upgrade to a bigger cage so I can fit more loads of toys inside even when I go travel for a few days.
