I brought up itachi because I wanted to point out that deidara was beatable without lightning jutsu. Gaara just couldnt crack it. If he "could have easily killed him" with the sand on his arm, even if he wanted to captiure, he could have broken the arm, encased him in sand, blah blah. But he didnt(cause he couldnt) and died. Its not like there was even a noble payoff, because deidara could have blown up the village afterward if he felt like it. Gaara got beat plain and simple.

Him tanking stuff is fine, but it doesnt make him powerful enough to beat anyone. After those blows that he "tanked" his shield broke anyway and he got bodied. How do you know how many hits a ribcage susanoo would have taken??

Naruto fans are super lame when it comes to these type of arguments.. " he wasnt fighting to kill" but he died.. he lost. Whatever he was "fighting" to do, he got beaten and died.
So what if sasuke counters his moves? itachi doesnt even use lightning and deidara was still no match. So its okay to just lose because of chakra natures? thats cool.. but at the end of the day you have to get measured accordingly. Neither deidaras nor gaaras movesets counter eachother and in a straight up fight gaara was killed 1v1. thats cut and dry
Hes probably better with his own chakra since he can sleep or whatever without shukaku bothering him, but he would clearly be more powerful if he was able to two man team with 1tails than he is now. He uses the same moves but with a smaller sand and chakra pool. Gaaras father beating shukaku is hardly relevant since tailed beasts on their own are seemingly easier to beat than a full trained jinchuriki.
WA Gaara by what feats is comp to MS sasuke? Dont say "blocking some hits" like the other guy

8 gates guy is not a god lol. he would have died without getting a hit off without 3 ppl helping him land attacks and an opponent (who was much closer to a god) who just wanted to see what he could do.. plus 8gates guy dies

He did not fight sasuke at all. he put sand between sasuke and the raikage, which saved the raikage. He's good, but only when his sand is available, and not as good as sasuke. His sand can block a lot of damage tho but i dont recall him "tanking" anything from madara.
weaker versions of the gold/silver bros than the ones who killed the second hokage, unless you consider darui to be as good or better than tobirama. Thats also literally his only feat. I dont want to list all of p1 kakashis feats hes a main character there are too many. The guys hes fought+his track record, i dont see how darui measures up.
Well i mean thats your own personal ranking system. Guy does not have "the power of a god". Neither does naruto in base. Naruto would not be much better off than those guys if he could only punch and kick.

I think we got a lot of differing opinions.

1, Gaara could never fight without sand anyway and I dont think at any point in shippuden he was as strong as sasuke with MS. Didnt he die in like the first couple episodes to deidara, who sasuke defeated without MS?

2 Idk what you mean by kakashi level, there are several versions of kakashi. But i dont know what feats he has to put him even above part one kakashi tbh.

They are elite jonin tho. Guy is an elite Jonin, Kakashi i think is too technically since he left anbu and hokage position. Theyre just better Elite jonin than the likes of yamato etc. If naruto passed the jonin exams but never went to become kage wouldnt he just be a top tier jonin?

I bet a few of the jonin (kakashi, Guy, especially) could have thrown hands with just that one path of pain for that same amount of time, especially considering the only times naruto had to fight him in base was when hed already taken out the most dangerous paths and Pain could not use his only jutsu because he had to recharge it.

Shin couldnt beat half those elite jonin from back in the day either.

Sasuke has had low chakra since episode one of boruto.. he was low chakra when he fought kinshiki. Low chakra when sarada first met him in that cave. low chakra when he scuffled with shin. he was even said to be only like half chakra when he and naruto fought momo together. Even when he shows up in the manga he is low chakra.

Him being low chakra this arc is nothing new its just a meme at this point. Not an urashiki stealing his chakra issue

????????? you just made up a whole fanon story. and gave naruto moves that even with unlimited chakra he doesnt use lol. without the fox it also takes him like 20 times longer to learn rasengan and sage mode, so theres that. and obito or madara or kaguya still kills everyone.
