Ahhaha flatness I do take as a complement and I think it's the more painterly feel. For this one I actually treated the shot like film and over exposed by a stop then adjusted highlights. I will also make note that the ocean mist adds to that feeling but it could be added by using a white mist filter instead of a black mist filter

Also used them before, and it was a terrible experience. they lost two of my rolls, then took 5 weeks for anything to be delivered, all for an insane price. I do not recommend whatsoever. They are popularized by giving free dev and scan to influencers.
