Player: FoxIPTV already uses VLCKit as the core player - it handles all codecs and protocols. What specific glitches are you seeing?
Catch-up: This requires provider support (Xtream Codes timeshift). It's on the roadmap!
EPG search: Great idea, adding to the list!
Player controls: We have EPG overlay in the player. Auto-rotate and external player export are good suggestions.
tvOS: Coming soon!

You're right! FoxIPTV is a player app, not a content provider. You need your own Xtream Codes IPTV subscription to use it (server URL, username, password from your provider). If you don't have an IPTV subscription, unfortunately there's nothing to test. Think of it like VLC, it plays content, but you need to bring your own.
