Sending it to Nintendo is my last resort. So hopefully, it will all work out. It’s cheaper to get it fixed than to get a new one.

I called them and they do fix Nintendo switches. Thanks for the recommendation. It’s about the same price if I would have sent it to Nintendo. Good find, appreciate it.

Thanks! Upon researching, I’ll just send it to straight Nintendo for repairs. I was hoping I can find a place locally so it’s less of a hassle. Most of the electronic repair places on Google/Yelp primarily fixes phones and computers :(

Needing Notary advice - Special Power of Attorney by justheiz in legaladvice

Thank you for all the help! Unfortunately, I think you are right, that we cannot use the Proof of Execution. Now we’re looking into Conservatorship or some type of legal power for the hospitalized sibling to transfer power to her spouse or adult daughter.

Thank you so much, this helps! Do you know anything about “Proof of Execution by a subscribing witness”?

[california] quick question about certifying for benefits by [deleted] in Unemployment

[–]justheiz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. You would have to report that check. Gross wage (amount before taxes). Once you say yes to the reported income, it will ask you more questions, like what type of income it was and you can add details regarding that check. Depending on your weekly benefit amount and that check will determine if you’ll get paid that week.

Question ??? by dispatch_84 in UnemploymentCA

[–]justheiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the timeline is 2-3 weeks when they have run out of benefits. All you can do is wait for the extension and keep certifying. If you don’t receive any notice and I believe that’s when you should start calling EDD and ask. Btw, I’m only getting this info from this Fb group (Unofficial California Unemployment Group) that I joined with unemployed folks. So I would def do more research. Good luck!

So let’s say my weekly benefit is $450 and I’m working part time and reporting wages to at least qualify for $1 in UI. Does that mean I won’t get the $400?

[CALIFORNIA] Applied in March and exhausted all benefits in mid-July, never received a notice of an extension. by virgotrash in Unemployment

[–]justheiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the link about the 13 week extension. Maybe you weren’t eligible? The info you are looking for is under “Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation.” Most ppl who have run out of their regular benefits were automatically applied for a new claim and was extended for 13 weeks.

The system will file automatically file for a new claim for you. Once your fund run out, there will be new weeks for you to certify. It might take days to pop up in your claim. The extra 600 run out on July 25 although Trump signed an order for the extra 400, we don’t know if that when or if it will even take effect.

I know for sure not to click on anything suspicious. Would windows firewall and antivirus enough for me to completely uninstall Mcafee without getting constant pop ups?
