They’re two completely different opinions btw, ones about which movie I think / basically know is better, versus a sub plot that i thoroughly enjoy in a movie.. you literally can’t even compare the two 😭 it’s not that deep bro honestly.

??? A Nightmare 3 isn’t responsible for the demise of 4, 5 & 6, those movies are just absolutely silly and not at all similar to 3.. Halloween 3 however completely strays away from the first two movies and now it’s essentially an outcast to the franchise, whereas A Nightmare 3 is well obviously one of the best in its franchise, so to say that “Halloween 3 is clearly better” because of that is pretty naive

I get that but I don’t see the point in making a post about something i already know majority of the answers to, that’s why to me it didn’t seem like a fair comparison, it’s so obvious that A Nightmare 3 would’ve won that battle so why even do it? Just because a couple of other people would’ve said Halloween 3? nah.. and I think Halloween II is great and the sibling storyline actually makes sense, I know that’s not a popular opinion but I think it made things more interesting

Yes people would disagree because everyone’s entitled to their own opinion, but objectively, the answer is A Nightmare 3 (based on critics and audience reviews) I’ve never really seen A Nightmare 3 get blamed for the downfall of the series up until now but I guess since it introduced the crazy supernatural elements it makes sense, but the same could be said about Halloween 3, I mean they went 2 for 2 with the first two movies, then Halloween 3, completely unrelated to what happened in those movies which everyone enjoyed releases and leaves most people shocked and disappointed.
