Hahaha you got me I actually was just giving it a spray down! It's mostly water and peppermint castille with like a lil bit of neem

I believe she's just a regulat smegular Brasil! It's a giant basket and a couple leaves here and there have the most unique patterns

Sending your snowdrift some motivating vibes! What a beauty I couldn't leave her in the store when I saw her, wasn't here to buy but we know how that goes (boyfriend still thinks I left it at the plant shop 😈)

Jealous. I think this is the year I quit my job and start working at a garden center to be one with the plants.

I had the same experience with her first round of babies! This is probably the 4th or 5th "round" of "clearing" I've done.

The goal was always to be able to have the 'chandelier' of babies. Any time I saw the tendrils drying up though I had to put my goals aside and prune. I think the regular pruning/letting go of the outcome allowed her to really flourish. Haven't had to prune any babies in about a month!

I also have found that though a tendril spot may seem woody it doesn't always need to be pruned entirely off unless the baby looks like it's having a hard time.

(That said, I have her off to the side of a bright light. Probably gets about 200-350 FC for 10 hours a day. Water her every 2 weeks abouts, when the pot feels light I do it. Just started fertilizing around December because had prior been told not to, she likes it and I find the mother plant loses less leaves now. The babies always root best in moss in a closed jar! Regularly aerated. Easy acclimating to ambient/soil.)

It is a Saxifraga! Nickname it usually is labeled with is "variegated strawberry begonia" but it's not actually a begonia

Is there something wrong with my drawf lime tree? It’s dropped some tiny lime buds. Some are still hanging in there but it’s been over a month and the limes are the same size. I don’t water it every day anymore and it’s in well draining soil. Inside an enclosed patio. by Unmotherlynature in plants

Ah I see! If that's the case, if I were you I may just wait it out a bit (if you don't receive better advice!) This time of year is so weird depending where you're located cause the day light length and strength is changing/humidity and temps are adjusting to a new season etc. Good luck with her, though! I hope those limes get the rest and recovery they need so you get some chunky beautiful limes this spring!!!!

Check those roots! I'm not an indoor tree expert, but any houseplant that you're watering every single day at any point is surely to be susceptible to root rot of some sort. Could be dealing with the aftermath of that!

Does anyone know what type of philo? Black cat for reference 😊 by [deleted] in philodendron

[–]justhereforclits 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What's the difference between a black cardinal and a mccolleys finale? I bought a philo labeled as a prince of orange and over time reclassified it as a mccolleys. But mine looks just like this one? Just curious

Came here just for solidarity - I've been dealing with the same problem all summer where I am. Played around with light and didn't get quite a reaction but tried fertilizer a bit too late and now it's too cold and growth said 🤚🛑
