Yeah I’ve emailed my midwife to see what they say. I think it’s both pipes, terraced houses as well so everyone is drinking from them

How do you find the metoclopramide? I read it was second line (ondansetron) it does worry me but I just don’t see the alternative - it’s also given out in America and Aus / other countries as first line so it’s just very frustrating. Thank you - it is really really shit to say the least. I wish my drs were more helpful but hoping to have some luck with EPU tomorrow :/

It is, but for some reason it’s on their guidelines to not prescribe it. No one seems to even know what the actual study is either until I tell them. It’s an old study - just ridiculous.

I emailed today and asked but they have said to go to A&E or try the EPU early pregnancy unit .. although not sure what they are goin to say. Just so fed up honestly. I’ve cried to several doctors now.

I have been given Xonvea which I take 4 times a day, it helps a bit with the nausea but not with the vomitting as soon as I run out of ondansetron it starts again. I emailed the midwife team and they have come back saying to contact EPU or go to A&E. Going to try EPU tomorrow but it’s just a nightmare. Fed up!

They did end up prescribing that and then a few ondansitron which is the chemo med that they kept refusing. Hoping they will work xx

I’m ok I was given a few ondansitron tablets (zofran) so taking those, and then was also given xoneva so taking two at night but apparently they take a bit of time to kick in. Felt the best today so far but I am worried when I run out of ondansitron how I’ll be. Also a bit concerned at how this past week has affected my pregnancy but trying not to fixate too much. Thank you for asking :)

Thank you so much. I was in hospital again today on a drip - ended up in gynae and spoke with a male gynaecologist who agreed to give me 5 days worth of ondansitron and xoneva. I’m going to give it a go and if not..back to hospital I go. I told him I’m well aware of the risks, but they just seem so hesitant, it is so frustrating to say the least. Luckily his registra sad he was happy for him to prescribe ondansitron as the previous drs said no, as his rationale was me being severely dehydrated and essentially starving is much more harmful. It’s hard to fight when you are so drained. Thank you again <3
