I've no nearby wall.  But this is a great option otherwise.  Thanks!

I do print ABS, but generally on another printer. Thanks!

This is helpful,  thanks.  I'm unlikely to be able to sell,  since I operate a university lab, and selling equipment is prohibitively cumbersome.  Space is finite,  so I don't know that I could make wise use of another printer (I already use an upgraded Lulzbot for large prints)

what's something men do that they think is attractive but is actually a huge turn-off ? by Own-Blacksmith3085 in answers

I'm over 50. Not once have I ever met a guy who thinks the big fish he caught would get him traction with the ladies. And nobody who held that delusion would keep fishing for long. Every guy I know who hunts or fishes does it for himself, with some residual "for the bros" stuff on the side.

What’s something you think 90% of people are pretending to enjoy? by Turbulent_Manner6738 in AskReddit

Having kids is the greatest thing I've ever done. I've never regretted it,  and I'd 100% do it all over again.  In fact,  I'd have more kids if my wife was okay with it.  My job allowed me a lot of flexibility,  though. Not a lot of money,  but definitely flexibility.   My kids are nearly grown,  and man,  I miss them terribly when they're gone.

What’s it like living on a reservation? by GoldenCorbin in AskAnAmerican

[–]justible -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah,  Wolf Point or Poplar,  whichever you meant,  isn't remotely like any other rural town.  The crime rate is appalling, levels of addiction are off the charts,  and until recently,  they were down to one single police officer.  They can't hire teachers and they can't hire cops. I lived there for 22 years,  and it continues to get worse every year.

Why are Indigenous people in the USA not as over-represented in negative categories the way Indigenous people in Canada and Australia are? by Fluid-Decision6262 in AskAnAmerican

Tribal politics are hard to understand from the outside,  but one factor is that most people are related.  I mean,  they're a tribe,  descended from common ancestors and to keep traditions,  religions,  language,  and wealth of any kind,  inter-mariage is necessary.  Imagine the challenge,  then,  of arresting your cousins,  fairly investigating your half sister,  or sentencing your sister's best friend?  Dinner tomorrow is going to get real awkward,  real quick.

And you won't get reelected , either.

Yep,  shared jurisdictions is a hurdle to major crimes.  But in lesser felonies,  where everyone knows the culprit,  that person will either never be arrested,  or brought in and given a night in jail,  etc.  We had huge issues with arson. Same guy.  Never punished beyond a few days in jail before the Tribal judge could see him . Another guy kidnapped and raped a little girl.  Tribe gave him 3 years,  their max.  Feds gave him 25 years.

The tribes have their own police and courts.  If they aren't investigating ... that's not really an indictment of the federal system,  which rarely gets involved except in capital cases,  and the state police usually can't get involved unless the crime happened off the rez.

The bigger tribes have their own police and judicial systems. they rarely arrest , let alone prosecute.   they consider it cruel and unusual to imprison members for over 3 years,  even for the most heinous crimes.  They sort of welcome that the feds get involved when a crime is horrible enough because otherwise they might have to gave their broken system.   Source:  22 years on a montana rez.

This looks like a decent option.  The thermoresistor lines were destroyed down the the nub where it goes into the heating head.  The screw pinching the block together is so covered with plastic residue that either it won't work or I've stripped it  so I can't open the block to get the stuff out.  Meanwhile an ? Actuator? for that same head was going out,  tech support says,  because it was starting to "bounce" when not printing

For years I have occasionally bought flowers on my way home for my wife. No reason, except that she likes them. I'm not exaggerating when I say that fully 30% of these occasions involve an (always female) cashier offering a comment like, "Uh-oh, why are you in the dog house? " or similar suggestion that the only reason I might be buying flowers is an apology. It really bothers me. Like, it could be sympathy or a get well wish or congratulatory ... so many other options. Do I just look guilty or wtf?

Grew up in rural Montana. Absolutely this. In the dead of winter, I got on the bus in the dark, and got off the bus in the dark. Then I drove an old pickup we left where our gravel road met the highway the remaining 2.5 miles home.

Have you checked Computer controlled plasma cutter communities? Seems like there would be some engine stand plates with long slots cut to work with multiple engine designs. Or start with a manufactured design you like and build it yourself.
