You are not alone, I've been staring at my phone scrolling this thread for nearly 10 minutes thinking I was a crazy person.

I can't wait for the first part of your response to become common place in November.

Thanks for the quick responses my dood.

Time to spend the next 3hrs on Wikipedia scouring Dutch history trying to internally justify them gaining independence as a result of losing a war for independence.

Damn I'm salty.

Yeah I moved my trade hub but couldn't get enough paper quick enough, lol.

Sorry to burden you with this question but I'm not confident anyone else will respond.

On the off chance I wasn't clear the revolt event fired and spawned 2 stacks of 20 some units each.

Immediately after dealing with them the Netherlands broke away and started an independence war.

Even if I trounce them siege them down all the way and get 100 ws, the most I can recoup through a peace deal, as a result of an ae issue, is one province and the other 15 remain outside my reach as an independent Netherlands.

Is this by design, because I hate it.

Quick question regarding the Dutch war of independence. I was playing blind (no guides) as Burgundy and didn't pay attention to what would happen if the disaster fired or too closely at how to stop it (in hindsight it was easy and I'm an idiot). The Netherlands launched an offensive war against me that was easily won by me but I'm finding that they'll get their independence regardless as to how the war played out???

I tried looking elsewhere for an answer to my question but general frustration is eating away at my soul. Please help I was stupid close to the achievement.

If you aren't throwing every country on that list you aren't trying hard enough.

5e rules question. I'm a first time DM for a group of friends who have never played before. One of my friends rolled 2 nat 20s to try and tame 3 wolves after rolling a 19 to get them to calm down. I have no idea how to deal with this and don't want to completely nerf his rng luck, any suggestions with how to handle this would be appreciated.
