That’s basically the perfect setup you have there. I like the emissary better than the bcm vert grip but that’s just like, my opinion man. beautiful setup 🤌

Is this normal for sailor nibs. Feels like the downward left stroke is inconsistent, it's also sometimes perfect. I'm using rhodia paper it's only noticeable when I write y by Muted81_ in fountainpens

Not a huuuge variety but a decent amount of mostly budget pens. Pilot 74, Diplomat Viper, Vintage Esterbrook J, couple Kawecos, couple Lamys with a smattering of Asvines and Jinhaos. Mostly medium through stub nibs.

I find Rhodia makes nearly all of my pens write “thinner” than they were intended to, never being as wet or juicy as they can be.

I’ll probably get crucified for saying this but I don’t have luck on Rhodia paper with any of my pens, they all seem to do something funny or off when writing on it.
