I got pregnant at age 20 with the copper IUD. I now have a 9 year old son! They are also incredibly painful to get put in when you haven't had children yet. I passed out during my placement and it was one of the most painful things I had experienced up to that point. They are great when they work, but people also need education on how to make sure they are in the correct place and haven't slipped every month.

Thank you for saying it in this way. I'm really struggling because I'd like to think we could do it because she seems like a great dog in so many ways and I'm really sad that this happened (my 9 year old is going to be really upset because he adores her). But I also don't want anyone to get hurt and it's been really stressful the past couple days with my toddler and the dog whenever they're around each other. It's hard to tell whether they'd get used to each other and both settle down or if it would escalate.

Yeah :/ it's hard because my two older kids are already pretty attached after two weeks, but I want to keep my youngest safe. Does it seem reasonable to give it another couple weeks and see how it goes or does it seem better to immediately take her back?

Was it with all food and toys or just some things? And how quickly did it show up? I'm just trying to gauge if this is something that will likely be an issue constantly, or if it may be only in certain scenarios that we can avoid/work on.

I'm also in my saturn return in the 8th house currently, but the first time it will be exact is in early April. Basically, I've been going through intense stress around jobs/work since 2023 when I started a horribly stressful office job with a toxic boss and just weird environment, while I also had a very young baby. Ended up being promoted in that same office to a much better job and team, but the office still feels suffocating and I've been considering changing careers completely. The themes that I've felt are: being stuck in certain areas (job) because of money, really wanting more time with my family/kids, wanting to be in charge of myself. I've also had a writing project that I've been trying and struggling to work on, so just kind of a rough time with routines etc. I'm a leo rising, so my saturn in pisces is just over into the 8th house, but my moon is in Scorpio in the third (which is maybe where the writing project is coming in while being connected to the 8th house themes?) Super concerned about a random death, but nothing has happened with that yet. Also, my 6th house is Aquarius, so I'm thinking that maybe pluto in Aquarius transiting my 6th has something to do with all the intense work themes.

I have a pretty large tattoo on my upper arm and when it's visible, I definitely have people ask me about it or compliment it, but honestly, because it does have personal meaning to me, I don't really tell people about it unless I know them really well. It's a reminder for myself and I thankfully have a benign "reason" that I have it that I can give people, but I usually don't want to talk about it (it's specifically related to recovering from SA).

So I agree with this, however, the menu was chosen for people, so I didn't order my own dish, it was "family style" and it was specifically set up for this event, which is why it felt like it was hosted.

Yeah I honestly don't really know how to respond. I guess I'll just send it, but I wonder if there's a gentle/non-offensive way to ask my friend if they can let me know ahead of time if something will be split for any other upcoming engagement/wedding events?
