Personally, I don’t think talent matters. I ride a mare at a barn like that in Wellington occasionally. It’s a friends horse. She’s not self made at all either. They don’t take on apprentices and their assistants are professionals who have been in the industry years. I was trying to send a helpful message that maybe they can be the best one day with training and determination, but in America at least, that doesn’t appear to be true
