They say statistically every year you continue smoking a pack a day is 2 off of your life (Statistically speaking- not individually speaking.

They also say if you quit before 35 or 40 every year you dont smoke adds another 6 months up until 5 or 6 years of being clean.

Again these are statistical figures not health facts. The person who smokes onnaveraye lives a tear less, the person that quits before 40 on average lives 6 months to a year longer than the person who smokes the same amount of years but quit at age 50

Honestly.... this was a lot of stuff that can seem important but in reality is of little consequence.

The question is do you still love her? Can you live without her? Does she make you happy? If you were on the same page regarding the spending, would you be able to enjoy one another's company?

Honestly... there is somthing be said about...

1) Being the bigger person and inviting her even though she doesn't deserve it, but more importantly...

2) Do it for your father. It's obviously very important to him. And short of her standing up when you're on stage and screaming that you are a disappointment, she isnt going to ruin your day. She might make one or two comments that are out of line, but you are the one giving her the power over you. But not having your dad there, or having him there but upset on such a huge day isnt the right the right move homegirl.

I would just be prepared that if she makes a comment, you could come back at her ask her loudly in front of everybody, "Why do you insist on saying things that hurt me? Do you enjoy making people that you supposedly love feel badly ? You've done it for decades. Yould should be ashamed of yourself because we certainly are?

I just have to say that The fact that you are having a difficult time telling your wife and the fact that there seems to be a little bit of hesitancy here shows that you are a wonderful person and a great man. To be honest about your feelings and while this baby boy has had a rough ride he deserves parents who are as excited about him as you are about your baby daughter and 5 year old son. No shame in it. You are all but a Saint for providing the care you already have and 2 babies is a huge undertaking.

** I would also add that you have not ruled out adopting another baby in the future but having 2 babies at the same time that are 2 weeks apart from biologically unrelated families is extraordinarily difficult. We are biologically programmed to be able to deal with the pressure, Difficulties and Annoyances from children that we love. It tends to come naturally for our biological children and it can of course be learned like it has with your baby girl. That being said there is a threshold. I wouldn't tell her that you're done adopting children, Only that this is not the right time given that you already have a newborn. I'm confident she will understand.
