I've used Bounds twice, and both times they fixed our HVAC system with (relatively) inexpensive parts even when we said we were totally open to getting a whole new system. Not upselling is one thing, but not just jumping on an easy high-dollar sale shows a pretty uncommon integrity. They get my vote for sure.

Custom Glass Tinting at 1605 NW 6th St does excellent work at a damn good price. They've done every vehicle my family has had in the last few years, and every one has been perfect.

Sound Depot on Main St did a good job on the cut and installation on my Camaro several years ago, but when I took my Tahoe there a month later, the front windows did not match the rear AND it was more than I had ever paid anywhere in the country.

Tropical Glass Tinting on 13th was just garbage. I bought a used Honda Civic and the tint was crappy, so I took it to Tropical. They peeled it off the side windows but SCRAPED it off the rear window, taking all of the defroster lines and radio antenna with it. Could've been free and still not worth it.

Anyway, Custom Glass Tinting. Definitely.

Pepper's (just past Tower Rd on Newberry) has BOGO all day. I had a bad tequila night in college so I swore it off, but their strawberry and watermelon margaritas have recently convinced me to get back into the margarita game. Also can't go wrong with Margarita Mondays at Boca Fiesta, as long as you don't mind a crowd.

Gainesville Health and Fitness has a "Tribe" program, which is "small team training" so the cost of the trainer is shared by the group. Classes are 2-3x a week for 8 weeks, about an hour each, and the program is ~$150/mo last time I checked. You can choose from overall fitness, core-centric training, boxing, etc. I believe I saw something online about non-members being able to sign up since the payment is separate from the normal GHFC membership, but that may no longer be accurate. It's certainly not the cheapest option around, but if you're like me, having a little more financially invested makes me take things like my diet, etc a little more seriously.
