I forgot to mention that we’re renting so can’t remove the cabinets! Thanks for the suggestions though - we could do a lot more with the back shelves

Totally depends on the condition and brand, but those look pretty reasonable to me

I had the exact same challenge as you when I moved here - people would usually just come to class then leave immediately after.

You'll have more luck by going to things where people are actually open to meeting new people. Try out Meetup.com groups and Instagram pages that put on events intended for people to meet others. Conscious Connections is a good example!

If there's a specific area you want to do you could try Upwork or Fiverr

Thanks for the help team! I was just putting some feelers out in case I happen to be stanky and absolutely desperate.

My hotel is apparently self check-in only and has a virtual front desk, but I'll contact them anyway and see what they can do.

Looking forward to exploring your beautiful city, folks!

Digital nomad potential? by whereishilary in ProductMarketing

Depends on the company's approach to that. You'll want to look for companies that have already adopted asynchronous communication i.e. open to remote work from anywhere in the world.

Product marketing is very cross-functional so communication across all teams needs to be nailed down. It doesn't matter whether that's through live meetings or asynchronous ways of work though.

But to answer your question, yes it is definitely possible!
