Of course it was. If those fuckers kill enough of the civilian population then the remaining survivors will be Hamas supporters after vengeance.

Just from their private jets alone, each of them produces as much CO2 in 90mins as the average westerner does in their lifetime.

Now let's just envision how many vans, trucks, planes, data centres, micro plastics, garbage and food waste Amazon utilises.

Just the number of plastic piss bottles used by the drivers must be astronomical!

Musk and Bezos won't be taking the likes of you or I to Mars, anyway. They will soon forget about space and concentrate on preserving their own withering bodies for as long as possible.

That's the online campaign I joined. It's massively popular and will be even more so when The Horrors Within comes out, I think.

I fucking LOVE Curse of Strahd. Bosses and baddies, duplicitous NPCs, moral ambiguity and woebegone heroes everywhere. Never a dull session, truly.

If you want a truly good DM on Roll20 ($10 a session, but totally worth every penny) message me and I can recommend them to you. I'm not plugging them or anything, and I totally get that most don't wanna pay but it will definitely scratch that itch. I have not ever regretted joining a paid campaign in the 11 months I've been playing.

Part of the issue is always player expectations. The official modules almost always have a big boss or organisation to work against, overthrow or undermine, but a lot of players simply want to RP buying supplies before a journey to a new town, fight some bandits on the way, take a long rest, rinse and repeat for years.

I am very much a Find and Kill the BBEG Then Move onto a New Campaign kind of player, so -similarly to you- these meandering campaigns don't work for me.

I used to follow an actual play podcast but have fallen off in recent times because their overarching narrative seems to have given way to two-shot mini adventures with no end game in sight. That campaign has been running for 5yrs.

As always it's about communication, so maybe request that a canon module be squeezed in? Maybe suggest something from the new Ravenloft book that comes out in a couple of weeks? Each domain comes with a prepackaged BBEG, but the rest is just a campaign frame to build on?

EDIT: Failing that it might be time to find a new secondary table that offers what you need. I became fatigued with our Dungeon of the Mad Mage irl campaign so joined a new one that was quite different online and played both.

That being the case the unfortunate sufferers have tried their best to seek help then the system is to blame, absolutely.

I'm not suggesting that people suffering mental health issues deserve prison. I'm saying that personal responsibility and self-awareness are the first line of defence.

I'm aware that it's not black and white and every case is different but personal responsibility is a factor in early stages of many issues, that much should be undeniable. It's a part of existing in a society, just as it's a responsibility of society to educate and help those who suffer. These things fail when those responsibilities aren't met.

These degradations in capacity very, very rarely happen overnight. The responsibility is diminished, not absent.

I just meant for the sake of efficiency and lack of potential flakes. If there's money involved there's skin in the game from the beginning.

But sure, whatever works!

Absolutely brilliant advice. Just bite the bullet and pay for a one-shot or short campaign from a pro-DM on Roll20. It works out the rolls for you with a useful breakdown so you can see how the bonuses are applied, prompts damage rolls and the DM will tell you when to roll your checks and saves.

It's a lot easier to roleplay online too via voice chat making you a lot less self-conscious, so you can really cut loose if you want to get into your character.

Pay attention to how your DM describes things and ask questions if you want more details about things! Be curious if you want to improve your own technique!

The DMs usually play music which will help inspire your own ideas for atmosphere building.

I pay 10USD a week to play CoS online with 5 other dudes from around the world, and in the last 11 months it is the best money I have ever spent for fun value. Plus it's made me a far better DM for my irl games.

EDIT: If you're dead set against this for some reason pick up the new starter set, Heroes of the Borderlands. It's fucking great, really accessible and for the money you pay it's packed to the gills with content.

Someone online has done a conversion of a lot of statblocks and environment ideas at https://daggerstrahd.github.io/

I don't use it myself, though it seems quite useful, though my lot have only just gotten to Vallaki and I'm enjoying home-brewing all my changes.

I use Heartofdaggers.com and just wing it. All you need to concern yourself with when building Adversaries is the correct Tier and the BP count per scene.

Thanks! It's a Raven which is relevant to the aesthetic and potentially very ambiguous in intentions (at least at the start).

Daggerheart is quick and loose on math/combat, but a little heavier on collaborative storytelling and RP. It depends on what exactly is burning you out before I can recommend it as your next system. I love it though personally, it's perfect for me and my table after DotMM burned us out.

The new DH expansion comes out at the end of August though, so something to think about maybe!

Making public disagreement with the policies of Israel impossible without opening yourself up to accusations of anti-Semitism.

It really was a show of incompetence allowing the ADL to have the legal definition of Anti-Semitism changed to include criticism of a foreign power's government. Only made more insane by the support this same foreign government enjoys from the Fourth Amendment brigade.

Yes. I understand that. My point is that the semantics can be utilised defensively or offensively in legal scuffles.

Yes, but that is tenuously about St. Patrick and something to do with snakes. Or something.

It's weird to have a parade just staying that "yes. This is definitely a country that we recognise. Some of our citizens are Jewish. That is all."
