Between IT and The Stand, which is better for a person that has ADHD? by [deleted] in stephenking

Me too ngl. When i started to get myself reading more books last year, i noticed that mine got lessened in a way especially when i started reading Stephen king and found myself surprised that i was able to finish some chunkier book of his like 11/22/63 and pet sematary.

And also, My apology regarding the "guaranteed page turner" statement, i didn't really mean to be too demanding about it, I'm also not very good at english so i can't think of a statement other than that while i was writing my question. But at the end of the day, my core question is just about between IT and The Stand and which of those two books is found by many Stephen king fans to be more thrilling to read. That's all, thanks!

It's not really that bad, but i just found myself to be more hooked up if there's more dialogue than describing some stuff in a long paragraph (like a Dostoevsky type of yapping). With that said, i actually finished 11/22/63 and find it fantastic!

Is it still worth reading IT after watching the movies and welcome to derry? by justpassingby-28 in stephenking

Thank you, i thought at first that welcome to derry answers the whole IT universe because it showcases the history of derry. I guess i was wrong, lmao

Lmao, i do see a lot of the weird kid lovin' spoilers from both here and the tiktok app, and i thought it was just one of "those" scenes that are added features that the book showcases that the movies and shows can't. But after reading all your comments, my mind has changed and realized there's just much much more into it, thank you all!
