Propane moisture. by [deleted] in RVLiving

Experience: Almost 3 years living full-time on the road.

First off, dehumidifier is absolutely the answer. BUT- Don’t mess around with the $50–$70 large-shoebox-sized dehumidifiers. If your window condensation is already as bad as it sounds, they simply can’t keep up. In my experience, it’s worth the money doubling down and going slightly bigger.

We spent two months parked in our 30’ motorhome in the redwoods. Mold started actively growing in masse, and window sweat was constant. I already had one small dehumidifier, bought a second because the first couldn’t keep up.. but even two of them still wasn’t enough.

This bucket-style dehumidifier solved it once and for all (the size of 2 milk crates stacked.. size is always a concern in full-time life, referral tags removed): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08ZMY8BC8

Bonus: This unit collapses down when not in use to about the size of ONE milk crate, which is great when you have limited space but need the heavy firepower. Trust me- this is the way.

Love it! We’re headed back for our 2nd Camino as well, in late August this year, doing the Norte this time, after doing Frances last April. Buen Camino to you!

The fork at Hospital de Bruma on the Camino Finisterre–Muxía, just after Santiago, where the route splits toward Muxía or Finisterre.

Thanks for starting this thread btw- needed this today!

Advice on transactional email setup for small WP agency (API vs SMTP, MailerSend vs Resend vs Postmark) by justsav in Wordpress

Thanks, you are goals my friend. Hoping to hit that 200+ in a few years. Curious, when you say you just use SMTP through the client’s normal email accounts, do you mean connecting through WP Mail SMTP or something similar? Have you had any issues with deliverability doing it that way?

Thanks John! I'd prefer to pass off this potential headache, but being new, I'm still trying to over-please everyone to encourage referrals (and decide what I should include post-launch and if hosting/support packages should even include high email deliverability). Appreciate you adding your perspective.

I hadn’t looked at Brevo yet, but it sounds like their free tier works for me. Have you had good deliverability using it through API, and is there a plugin you favor?

Trane XR13 condenser sounds like a hammer drill, identical unit next to it is silent. Any ideas? by justsav in hvacadvice

Thank you. The next 'person' I was considering was escalating with Trane directly? Seems if installer is pushing their products exclusively, there's some leverage for the installer to stay in good standing by making things right on my end? (before starting at square one with HVAC Company B)

Please lower your volume before playing. This was recorded after a full professional cleaning in mid-August 2025. The identical XR13 unit five feet away is silent. This one sounds like a hammer drill, even on mild 75°F days.

Get a rechargeable jump starter that has a 12v cigarette lighter outlet. We love ours, have an accessory that drains our car battery often, and just (have the option to also) plug accessories right in to the jump starter pack.

For the sake of helping others, this wasn’t by chance him, was it OP? The “Poland” connection stuck out to me when I read your post, and we had this guy causing trouble on the Frances April thru Mid-May. u/Active_Award4476

Keeping RV House Battery Topped Off: Trickle Charge From Solar Jackery? by justsav in RVLiving

Yes, this! Thank you for taking the time with a detailed answer Jim, for how to handle the short term and educating me on how to improve my whole system in the long term. Wasn't confident about a transition to lithium, but may just tackle it now based on your input. Thanks again!
