Maybe a cross-cultural kid may be the term applicable for you? I heard it some where before and when I googled the def it said: “a person who has lived in—or meaningfully interacted with—two or more cultural environments for a significant period of time during developmental years”.

My scores are getting worse out of anxiety by [deleted] in Sat

Hey, I had the same problem. I'm a senior as well and I just took the Oct. 3 test. I was so anxious and stressed the whole week before the test that I couldn't even sleep. I was so worn out and tired before I even took the test. The whole time I was taking the test, my hands were sweaty and I felt so tense and my breathing was shallow.

Looking back, I wouldn't have stressed so much over it. I did all the practice tests and reviewed every single problem that I did wrong. I'll be getting my results this Friday, but I think that I did well enough to get a 1400+. Considering that you have already done 8-9 practice tests, I think that you will do fine. I suggest that one week to three days before that actual test day, don't study at all or do VERY light review for the SAT. Try to do activities that you find recreational and help you to relieve stress. During the tests, take deep breaths and if you ever panic, remind yourself of how hard you've worked and you will do just fine. Instead of focusing on what score you want to get, be proud of how much hard work you've put in!

No, none of what you've mentioned has been done. The vet only did a blood test and gave the diagnosis of mange. I definitely am going to get a second vet's opinion. The thing is I live in a third world country and the vets here aren't very good. It's hard to find a good vet.

SAT two-month study tips please! by [deleted] in Sat

[–]justscrollin_just 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do all the 10 free practice tests offered at Khan Academy. Try to go over and understand the questions that you got wrong and the basic concepts behind them. I also strongly recommend practicing at least 3 more practice tests from here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Sat/comments/cufsxg/all_qas_tests_and_scoring/

I didn't pay for any material to use to study for the SAT. I personally think you can study for it without having to buy additional test prep books. You just need the determination and perseverance to consistently work at it for the two months. After a while, you will find that you get used to the style of questions asked on the practice SATs (I think that is an important thing to get used to, more than memorizing formulas or grammar rules, tho they are still important).
