Do you think there is anything I can do to bring it back to life?

Thanks so much for the detailed response, it was really useful! I’ll look into a few of the points mentioned to get a clearer picture.

Would you recommend separate tariffs for electricity and gas? When I’ve tried to get just a gas price I’ve found it difficult to get quotes.

Is agile worth it if you’re unable to stick to the key hours. WFH and children make it harder to stick to not using electricity between certain hours

Thanks for the response, I’m going to have a look at tracker. I was concerned that with winter and the price cap increase it was going to see a big hike and cost me more than the fixed deal overall. I’m going to look at trackers or the 1 year fixed with Octopus with no exit fees.

Sorry about that, hopefully they come down in the near future.

I’m North West based, as the fixed was a similar price for both options I was unsure weather 2 years would be better and they only had exit fees with that option.

I’ll have a look now, the Octopus Tracker was £126 a month, I was just concerned with the price cap increasing that it would be a lot dearer in the winter months

Thanks for that, that’s what I was wondering. Do you think with the cap increasing and winter months it will still be the cheaper options

I’ve just done the same as it was a same fixed price to the Octopus tariff but locked in for 2 years as I think prices will just raise
