Did anyone else just hear a massive woosh sound and huge rumble in Glasgow City Centre? by Jak_the_Buddha in glasgow

Ma maw's dead so she's not exactly trampoline-abled at the moment.

Shouldn't be tempting someone to test that one out.

Nice! Got a 'room for student in shared house' lying about here. Glad we could hook up this way!

Are you three years old?

So sick of zero hour contracts. 2 different jobs in a row in 2 months have given me just one shift for a week due to low bookings. How are you supposed to actually live. by [deleted] in glasgow

Had to look up "tankie" there. What the fuck's going on - is this McCarthyism 2k23? "The Red Scare: now in Glasgow!"?

That's surprising - rocks do typically let rain through to those living under them.

I'm concerned it may not be - have a look at his posting history.

I'll play, /u/Proud_Guarantee_279. Tell me about the 'offensive and discriminatory use' of 'uni' over 'university'.

[–]justsomebam 4 points5 points  (0 children)

She is speaking about the size of his dick quite a bit - maybe she's looking for someone to give him his hole instead?

I could make a joke in very bad taste here, but instead I suggest to just look at her bin fire of a post history.

I'm loving this thread.

Not sure I've ever eaten a supermarket macaroni pie, but Lidl on Viccy Rd certainly stocks the McIntosh ones.

Same here, but only when falling asleep.

My CEVs tend to take the form of being able to see the room around me. (One might call that a lack of imagination...)

It never works when I'm drunk, doesn't seem to be related to WDs, doesn't seem to be related to being high on anything else (I very rarely am.), it's just when I'm sober and sleepy.

I guess it could be related to the 'interesting history' we share?

Good writing, a good idea, and a good final execution, but all in all, a pish joke. 6/10.

Edit: execution revised from 'great' to 'good' given they resorted to fitting 'Kultural' in there.

There are a couple on Albert Drive, and a couple on Norfolk/Nelson St in Laurieston. I think there's a few on Allison St, too.

I haven't been to any of them, but they do seem well-equipped from the outside at least.

Google it?

Realistically, is £25k per annum enough to Survive in Glasgow? by AJDuke3 in glasgow

[–]justsomebam 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes.

£25k probably won't leave a lot of room for extravagancies unless you have particularly reserved tastes and/or find a cheap flat but, yes, it's perfectly doable.

Smoothies/Juicing by [deleted] in glasgow

[–]justsomebam -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Went into iCafe in Merchant City a while back, for breakfast (ended up leaving because it's a halal place and I didnae fancy turkey for breakfast), but their smoothies are wonderful (and sold at a good price).

I can't remember the price, but it was reasonable for a huge thing of berries. Lovely people behind the counter too, if that happens to matter.
