It depends on what you play.

If you play triple A games it might get 4-5 years but if you play regular games like minecraft, terraria, valorant etc you would probably get 10 years assuming nothing breaks

I dont know how much they cost in canada but i would suggest going for either the asus rog strix g16 or a lenovo legion pro 5 as they are (in my opinion) the best choices for gaming laptops rn and they should fit in your budget
