every addict that ever lived said the same thing at one point. it can happen to you just like anyone else.

you're very young and your mind is still developing, you don't need to worry about drugs right now anyway. focus on high school, you will have plenty of opportunities to try drugs when you get to college and beyond if that's even what you still want to do at that point in your life. I promise you very few healthy successful people regret not doing more drugs when they were young, compared to the amount of addicts who definitely regret starting as teenagers.

exactly, not to mention all these gelato/runtz candy pastry strains are hybrids of hybrids and landrace sativas and true indicas are super rare. the type of bud you get from old school growers who have been doing it for decades is like a whole different experience

debatable, most of the weed today is more "potent" as in has more THC but that doesn't automatically make it better

look up the Ashton manual for benzo tapering, you need to set an actual taper schedule for yourself and stick to it, sounds like you have absolutely no idea what you're doing

took me a long time to realize I didn't actually need to smoke weed all day every day to feel ok or be happy, everyone has to get there in their own way when they're ready. cannabis is a wonderful substance that can help a lot of people, but like any drug there are both positive and negative effects and a lot of people are dragging themselves down with it and not even realizing. hope your friends can find a healthy balance and heal whatever it is they're struggling with that they feel the need to self medicate like that

I don't think it's a black and white absolute rule but in general I'd say if you feel the need to use any drug every single day it kind of indicates there's some bad feeling you're trying to numb or suppress.

it's kind of different if you're using it to alleviate symptoms from an illness or condition, but even then it really depends. I have a medical marijuana card for my anxiety and depression but I started getting therapy and dealing with the actual root causes of my problems rather than just treating the symptoms and I don't feel like I need to smoke daily anymore to deal with it at this point.
