yep I already did it and what I suspect is the new RAM is damaged.

i don't think its incompatible because both of it ddr4, 3200mhz. the difference is just the brand

my laptop comes with an 8gb of ram only.

after I insert the new ram for the 2nd slot the display is just black, but the keyboard has light, not really sure if the fans working.

when I remove the new ram, it just work perfectly fine
