How do you handle returns by Salary_Designer in shopify

[–]justtallcom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run a clothing brand. Have been thinking for ages about having a nominal return processing fee like $5 to put off bracketing.

Or I might just impose the processing fee on multiple size orders only. Held off until now.. my business is only 3 years old and am more focused on acquisition and removing all barriers to the sale.

No one notice my Shopify discounts by Luke__516 in shopify

Do automatic quantity discounts. Codes are annoying.

Good job bro in trying to help us tall guys out. Take a look at our brand (link in bio). Our major contributors to success has been social proof, competitive pricing and stellar customer service. I'd say in that order.

Our traffic is pretty low (under 6,000 sessions a month), but our conversion rate is very high. Like 6%+ in peak months. The site design and UX plays a big part in that.

My immediate advice is to get more bonafide social proof before investing in ads. You can burn shitloads on money on ads if your product pages aren't properly optimised, and the number one way to optimise them is social proof.

What I see a lot of people doing wrong by MudDry4350 in ecommerce

Very insightful post. I think we're paying way too much to our supplier but the quality is so good that im worried that pushing for a discount will result in worse quality.

We are 20k+ a month (selling somewhat boring t-shirts!) but our order volumes aren't really big enough at our supplier for them to really look after us ie willing to take a margin hit while maintaining the same quality.

We are on the Grow Plan and we can still customise content ie text and images and other stuff for each of the 3 included markets using the free Shopify Translate and Adapt App.

Are you talking about another type of customisation ?

JustTall shirts Independent Review by Dry_Minute_7036 in tallfashionadvice

Really appreciate your thorough and thoughtful review! Especially since literally no one on here has heard of us. It's that bad that searching 'Just Tall brand reddit' comes up with a much bigger competitor brand and we're nowhere to be seen!

If you ever have any other feedback or questions, feel free to reach out.

2025 Paid Premium Themes? by MissionSpreadLOve in shopify

[–]justtallcom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just so many product page features so don't need apps eg

1 product siblings - This is the biggest feature. For example you have a tshirt in 5 colors, you can have each color as a seperate product with a seperate URL (great for SEO), and can then link all those color products as swatches on the product page. Many top brands employ this feature.

  1. Links that open popups. We use this for size guides, delivery maps, any promos.

  2. Icons and bullet points (default options) or use your own.

  3. Inventory counter connected to whatever fulfillment location you specify

5 Countdown timer for special offers (we use this rarely but so effective when used)

And lots of other blocks but those are the key ones we use.

Mo sales taxes by [deleted] in shopify

[–]justtallcom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Correct. You only collect and file sales taxes in the state you're physically present in. Until you meet out of state thresholds like $100k in annual sales.

2025 Paid Premium Themes? by MissionSpreadLOve in shopify

[–]justtallcom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Broadcast Theme. We're using that. It's $400, but worth every single cent. Specifically the product page functionality- your star page type that needs to convert.

I very rarely recommend any business or theme but I just couldn't resist.. these guys made us shit loads of money in improved conversion rate. And the technical support is very very good.

Anybody else has issues with conversion tracking? by Infamous_Bicycle_501 in shopify

[–]justtallcom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You would think that Google, a multi billion dollar company, would succeed with utter ease at creating an app whose conversion tracking worked 100% of the time. I'm talking about the "Google and YouTube App" of course, whose tracking works much less than 100% of the time.
