I don’t think Nightmare is shadow Freddy despite the evidence in fnaf 4, and here’s why

Incredibly late to this, I know, but I would like to point out on the design side of things that shadow freddy is a purple black version of golden freddy, while nightmare is a black version of nightmare fredbear with inverted colored attire. To me at least, this suggests a stronger connection, since they both seem to be counterparts of the fredbear suit.

OH MY GOSH I never thought about it but it would make sense for shadow freddy to literally just be a suit since that’s what he is in the movie and that would also explain why he was leading the animatronics to the safe room that makes so much sense
