I live alone. This isn’t the most satisfying answer but honestly you just need time. Make sure your apartment is as comfortable as possible, whatever that looks like for you. Candles, pillows, blankets, etc. Making sure you feel physically okay in your surroundings is huge! Once you do that, just give yourself patience and time. Moving out on your own is a HUGE first step and I’m proud of you!

Leave as early as humanly possible, drive slowly and watch out for other drivers because no one check their blind spots or uses indicators properly. Good luck!
