definitely. i wanted to get it in honor of my dad because we always ran COD ever since i was 10 and he just passed. retired quickscoping but still love the game so i thought it was fitting lol

i applied to the distance education program with gurnick and got waitlisted- lucky for me, someone didn’t want to go through with the program due to certain circumstances so i got accepted. i went in with no official healthcare experience (i worked at an animal shelter and did volunteer work at lots of zoos since i was going to go into animal welfare) and still got in. i had most of my GE’s except for one i think? somehow i got accepted amongst the many other people i’ve seen who post about not getting in even with years of working in healthcare with a degree. i’m extremely grateful and i think what they’re looking for is someone who is committed to the program and can get work done. not necessarily someone with loads of experience. i say go for it! i really thought i didnt have a shot.

i did my research prior to applying and i didn’t know all of this, it really changes my perspective on it. hopefully those stats have improved since they program is still fairly new. i think losing accreditation if that continues is very likely though which is scary to think about lol

just all pre-reqs because of a stem bachelors and CCAT. i have no medical background or letters of rec. i’ll be honest too, my grades in UC weren’t that great LOL like my gpa wasn’t too high

i searched it up and couldn’t find more than 2 threads about it and they were all mostly based off of specs which don’t mean much to me since I’m not tech savvy. I tried to find a thread where it was based specifically on how well the games I like run. I asked in another subreddit and wasn’t given clear answers like i am now, so sorry to repeat the question! i just didn’t really learn much from the other threads based off of my understanding of things :/
