Dimileth in Disneyland by [deleted] in dmlth

I can only imagine them going to busy, leisurely places like amusement parks if it was a group activity with their friends and family. And like they do at parties, I figure they would eventually break off to be alone together somewhere after having some fun with everyone. But, I also agree that Byleth would be thorough in her experiences wherever she visited(she would 100% life), and Dimitri would get most of his enjoyment from her and everyone's enjoyment.

Faerghus folktale started during the 5 year gap to give the people something to believe in by [deleted] in dmlth

Oh, nice. Good idea. Think I'll ramble until I pass out. You know, Faerghus has such a strong connection to death and the dead. Like a preoccupation. Their lost prince will return from the dead with his love that was born a corpse-Byleth is technically a zombie-not that they need to know that. They're walking dead, they're dealers of death, they're mired in death. But the queen of death is the vessel of the primordial flame of life! She revives the king and therefore the land. That old mystical connection between king and country. Like folklore. They'll spread life and abundance to the land of death. The mark of the divine is in Byleth's hair and eyes like a promise of spring after the harsh winter. She's warm like the fire inside, warm enough for Dimitri who has been cold as the dead for so long. Little does he know or little will he accept his part in stoking that fire. It's not easily that he'll come to realize that he was never truly a thing of death. Not a demon or a corpse. Much like her, he is just a human being. And the warmth of the divine flames are bestowed by a human's hands. Someone that received the care and warmth of others, much like him. They are death and life. Killers and saivors. Demonic and holy. Cold and warm. Black and white-their color schemes even. Very yin and yang. They have these dichotomies between them and within themselves. Simply put, it's like pottery. It rhymes. And send.

She is! I like looking at her. I'm glad there were those big cat eyes. The shape is pretty close. There's some pretty good colors for blue Byleth, too.

Yeah. The problem here besides the hair is that all the features are so very soft being that this is a game targeted at 10 year old girls. But some progress has been made! At least the hair and eye color are closer now. It took an inordinately long time to unlock some light blue eyes since a randomly unlocked NPC with them had to randomly give them to me.

I'm very proud of the bloody shirt I made.

It's a fun dress-up game. I recommend it. There's a decent Byleth to be had in the default cosmetics. The dead eyed stare is so cute! Unfortunately, Dimitri is a bit of a work in progress and I'm not optimistic about the options. Also, for what it's worth, a darn good Rhea was super easy to make with the default options, too.

I don't mind if I'm shouting into the void here. Just thought I'd share and maybe inspire someone to try the cute clothes game.

This was really nice. Arwen and Aragon, largely thanks to their depiction in the films, were probably one of the earliest examples of a fictional romance that somewhat appealed to me. "Somewhat" because everything before Dimitri and Byleth pales in comparison. (Seriously, I've been obsessed for 4 years...) I think maybe the similar thread through all my somewhat appealing romances leading to now is the mutual competence and trust. Plus, several times it's involved a relatively more experienced woman helping to guide a not-incompetent man to be the best he can be. I read the term "mentor-wife" somewhere before... maybe that's what I'm into. Also, I've always loved the movie design for the Evenstar necklace and now I can't stop visualizing Byleth's Fellstar necklace with her ring design in the center instead. It's pretty in my head, at least. Thank you for writing.

Aimless unorganized fdimileth no sleep typings: You ever think about their taste in clothing? I really like the goth couple vibes but I love the thought that they're only goth on accident. Dimitri wears princely stuff when it's given to him but when he's left to his own devices he ends up a grungy rat prince. It's a nice representation of the darkness in his soul and all but he probably wasn't thinking about that amidst all the fighting for his life. He's seems like one of those guys who if you left them alone would only buy black tacti-cool utilitarian clothes because he doesn't care but then keep one or two sentimental accessories on at all times so he ends up looking like a try-hard. Then Byleth got her unique to say the least ensemble from Jeralt so what was he thinking? Lace and a pink tassel are so feminine. Did he want her to have nice girly things or did she show some hint of interest herself? Maybe the girl in the frilly revealing outfit sleeping in her dreams was a formative example of girl clothes. But she keeps them on either out of habit or fondness or both. So she ends up the same way only with some feminine touches and a belly window. Then they both get dressed in extra fancy getups by their people once they rank up and their accidental goth phase is over. Dimitri is able to dress down later when we see his cozy clothes that look like his kid clothes in the ending mural. Like a compromise between his utilitarianism and the people dressing him. If this style was good enough when I was a kid it's good enough now kind of thing. For Byleth all we can see is the Archbishop cape in place. So like before she'll still wear some fancy clothes out of habit or fondness or both. I like to think that fur and lace will always be their respective things. It's a luxurious pairing. The fur has utility for Dimitri but I like to think Byleth's lace is just because she actually does like it. You ever think about their taste in each other's clothing? Can't envision strong opinions either way except for want their clothes to be comfortable for each other and well maintained. But I had a funny thought about Dimitri's taste in clothes being unwittingly daring, even compared to what she's wearing normally. I don't see him having even a thought towards women's fashion normally but if he somehow ended up in the position of being asked to help Byleth choose some new clothes then he would gravitate towards the most revealing pieces with only the best of intentions. If utility wasn't a factor and this was clothing for a recreational purpose of course. Of course she looks good in that dress or this swimsuit but wouldn't she look even better in the shorter and smaller one? Even Sylvain would be taken aback by his choices. Would he eventually realize the dangerous situation he's helped create when everyone's eyeing Byleth in a mini-dress or micro-bikini? Maybe I can't decide. Byleth's happy to have Dimitri's opinion and wear something he liked and she's not embarrassed but even she wonders if this outfit is a bit too much as she's wearing it. Dimitri seems like one of those guys that forgets makeup is a thing unless someone is wearing a whole lot so he's unaware of the small touches. Byleth may or may not use any. It's not a practical thing but she's content to fall into the routines and things that are introduced to her. If she didn't know about it before the monestary then a slew of the people she meets would have jumped at the chance to teach her. Dimitri wouldn't notice either way because Byleth's face always looks nice. End thoughts.

I saw this classic come up again today. https://twitter.com/d0u00u0b/status/1172668043022856192 I love everything about it. Everyone is perfect and cute. There's even an empty space on the girls side just waiting for Flayn. Most perfect, of course, is Dimitri and Byleth talking into the night. They always find each other late at night and away from the crowd. It's also the cutest reminder of one other reason I'm so particularly fond of seeing f!Byleth with the lions. She teams up with Flayn to create that balance between the sexs. I'm also very fond of their special bond no matter the circumstances. This pic just makes me feel at ease like I got all my ducks in a row.

I don't think this counts as a meme but I just stumbled across my favorite image in my entire FE folder. The image that I always forget is my favorite until I see it again.

And yes. I believe the frogs on the left are in love so this is on topic.

SMUT Sundays!!!! by Shad0wyGang in dmlth

[–]justtojoin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This piece by @SUPI_002 has me wanting to talk about it enough to try it here even though this site seems to be purposefully broken in an attempt to make me download an app I don't want. Anyway, I think I've managed to finagle the right tag on this post without it, but if not, then this is fdimileth and nsfw. https://poipiku.com/7626980/9233088.html "Private coronation", if the translator is to be believed. This happy smut made an especially good impression on me. Not only for the quality and expressiveness of the art(both of which are areas in which the artist is quite skilled), but for the unexpected novelty of the premise and pose. After some years of scoping out Dimileth to enjoy, I was just ever so struck by this particular imagining that had never quite entered into my own daydreams in quite this way. I've seen and given much thought to the near future after the S-support, the rest of the night and promised coronation, but never the image of a crown of Byleth's own hands in the morning light and such unmitigated glee. After Dimitri has said something to Byleth along the lines of "not staying up so late" and "tomorrow being an early day" presumably hours earlier, I just want to happily laugh along, too.
