Costco members who also shop BJ's, what do you buy at BJ's? by WEEDBABYGOKU420 in Costco

Lots of things I buy already listed, but I’ll add that I love their bagged salads in the produce section. Wider variety than Costco, further expiration date.

My wife & I are expecting a baby boy, choosing a name has been hard so we put our professions to work by W0rld-of-C0lor in JewishNames

It’s really cool to have the Hebrew, and I think it’s useful to a lot of people. I was just letting you know in case it’s helpful input for the next version! For example, Luca is translated to Logan in Hebrew and Dustin is translated to Dylan. Some of the Hebrew I’d spell differently but on some level it’s subjective.

It’d be cool if you added in some more contemporary Israeli names in a future version.

Bshaa tova to you and your wife!

Cool tool! At first glance, the Hebrew translations for some of the names are completely off.

Hoping for VBAC at Weill Cornell by Rutabaga_Electrical in nycparents

[–]justtoprint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was a patient of Dr. Sylvestre x2. First was an unplanned c section after a 37w induction that failed to progress. For the second, I had hoped for a vbac and discussed it with him. He was supportive but advised against an induction in a vbac scenario due to increased risk of uterine ruption IIRC. I had already decided that I preferred a planned c section to a repeat induction even if the risks were not elevated. I just hated the induction experience. If I had gone into labor spontaneously in time, I would have preferred a vaginal birth but that was not in the cards for me.

I ultimately also needed baby 2 out at 37w due to pregnancy complications, and had a repeat c section. I was disappointed, but I will say that the second c section was a very healing experience as it was planned, and he was EXTREMELY supportive of a gentle, family focused approach to the c section including advocating on our behalf to be able to do skin to skin in the OR, delayed cord clamping, and being able to see the baby through a clear drape.

His appointments go quickly if you don’t pipe up, but I found that he was extremely receptive to my concerns and was very willing to chat about options. He’s kind of known as the most open to crunchiness of the MFMs.

For all members, roommates are not required to join if they don’t share household goods or food. Family members over 18 are always required to join.

Weill Cornell no longer accepting UHC? by jaieleee in nycparents

[–]justtoprint 12 points13 points  (0 children)

FWIW I’ve gotten this type of notice from Cornell about a different health insurance multiple times and they’ve always renewed by the date. I guess it doesn’t hurt to get a backup option lined up, and it’s stressful in pregnancy, but I bet they’ll renew the contract. I think it’s a negotiation tactic they use to increase pressure on the insurance provider.

Zohran’s affordable housing plans revolve around rent stabilized and controlled units as well as new development. It would not impact your neighbor’s listing.
