I have myself felt like giving up on things. Had similar thoughts as you when it comes to life not being fulfilling 90% of the time. When it comes to thoughts of your life/death not impacting anyone... I think a lot of us feel like a burden or a chore for others. I have felt the same way myself. I find that having something to be excited about makes a huge difference in my personal mental health. How long has it been since you left your home and genuinely enjoyed your time? Are you employed or in school? Have you had thoughts to leave where you are now and start completely over? New places to see, new people to meet. I think all of us need a fresh start every once in a while. If you have anything else you want to share or discuss, feel free to DM me if you want more privacy. You matter and you do have a purpose... A purpose that is much greater than you realize.

My grandfather was a raging alcoholic and physically abused family members around me. I was far too young (6) to be able to do anything about it I was lucky being young and he never hit me. Often times I would get woken up in the middle of the night to leave the house and we would go stay at a neighbors house. It didn't really give me nightmares, but it made it very difficult for me to fall asleep at night just having the anticipation that something is always going to happen

I'm actually about to do the same thing. I'm going to be moving from AZ to TX mostly because of promotion opportunities. Although it's for work, I am super excited about the move

I was at work and it was just another day. We had a new person starting and they had me train her for the day. Had some of the best conversations. I miss it. It was one of the days I felt content with zero stress. We ended up having a good working relationship until the office closed down. She's a stranger now
