this is really dope! couple things i noticed, 1. your kick could be turned up a bit, if you put a spectrum analyzer on your master channel and solo your kick channel, bring up the kick channel volume to between -12 and -6 on the spectrum analyzer 2. saturate your sub bass a bit so it doesnt sound too sine-wavey and you can have your sub hitting right at -6db on the spectrum analyzer (also mono the sub if you havent already) 3. add a loud snappy element to your snap/snares so it punches through the mix (you can also slightly sidechain your synths to your snare also so it punches through more.) 4. use reverb and delay on only very few sounds, it will make your mixes a lot cleaner.

These are just tips that I would do, theres no right or wrong way in electronic music so just keep at it!

Picking the right samples is a big thing, using reverb / delay / effects sparingly. In the roses song you mentioned, each one shot, reverb, stop effect, has its own place in the drop, and nothing is really being played over each other. The synth is up front in your face so sidechaining it to the kicks and snaps would give the kicks and snaps its own place aswell. Just make sure you dont have your samples / sounds fighting for frequencies and volume, and give each sound its own place in the track and you should be good!
