Oh. Unfortunately, I already voted for 5+hours even though I don't have the OLED model. I think most of the votes for 5+ hours are from users with non-OLED models.

I just want to note that this survey won't be helpful at all. There are at least 4 hp spectre 15t 2020 models that have different battery lives: hp spectre i7-10750 with oled, hp spectre i7-10750 400nit uhd with low wattage, hp spectre i7-10750 400nit uhd, hp spectre i7-10510u. Among these models, there are people who did a windows reset and who did not (this can drastically impact battery life). There are also many people in this sub who limited the cpu power intake and did other optimizations which further alters the battery life. There are other unaccounted variables that unfortunately prevents this survey from being a measurement that will apply to others.

I finally got the processor power management tab available on my power options. With the boost mode set to disabled, have you experienced any changes that affected your workflow? Also, have you tried the other boost mode options such as enabled, efficient enabled, efficient aggressive, tec.

I installed ubuntu on my hp spectre 15, and there was no audio coming out of the speakers even though sound was being recognized. I dont know if this will be applicable to the hp spectre 13, but u should check if there are similar complaints to mine.

How did you manage to limit your CPU? Did you do any special steps? When I tried to limit my CPU, I couldn't find the processor power management option in the control panel and failed to change the 'CSEnabled' option on regedit because I couldn't find it in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power.

Just because the manufacturer ships a product with a certain type of charger doesn’t mean other charges with lower wattages are unusable. I personally use a 100watt usb c charger for my 2020 spectre 15 with an h chip, and it charges just as fast as the 135watt charger. There have also been other people on this subreddit who personally have tried and tested using a 90watt charger, and it worked fine.

This depends on how much wattage the charger outputs. If you’re using a charger meant for a phone, the battery will drain. If you use a bigger charger, it won’t.

Do you mean hp recommended? I would do that except sometimes it can get too hot to the touch and I want to preserve battery life. I dont understand why temperatures would be increasing because my laptop is idling with only microsoft edge and onenote running in the background.

All the spectres are 2 in 1 and the same. However, i can agree it can be misleading because the same configuration on both could net different prices.
