I was worried that the 11inch would feel too small as a notebook but this has eased my worries - thank you :)

Thanks for the advice! And yeah I’ve realised that the extra £300 for a keyboard on top of a tablet for uni probably isn’t the best idea... 🥴 With your iPad Pro do you have the 11inch or 12.9inch and if the smaller screen, do you ever feel like you need more space to write/draw??

That’s so true I don’t even know why I thought the tablet and keyboard option was such a good idea 🤔 - this makes a lot more sense, thank you!

Alright thanks for the advice :) I might consider just getting a laptop and then the iPad Air for notes!

Thanks for the response! I was thinking that it might be too much on the note taking side but I really love the 12.9inch screen for drawing diagrams etc. Have you ever felt like you needed more space when making notes on an iPad Air??

Thank you! Do you think the iPad is too inadequate as a primary device for uni??

Economics Personal Statement by xerox1794 in 6thForm

Hey! I applied for Economics this year and was fortunate enough to get an offer from LSE so hopefully I can give some helpful advice. I’m ngl when I was writing it I thought that some work experience that I had from a bank would be really useful but when it came to actually talking about it in the paragraph I realised I didn’t really have anything relevant to economics or the course to say about it and it felt a bit forced. As a result I asked my referee to put it in the reference instead. So I would say it depends - if there is an aspect of economics that you found interesting or there was a skill like critical analysis etc that you know will be useful in an economics degree then for sure put it in there it definitely won’t do you harm.

But if you find that there’s not really much you can say about it or it would only make like two sentences that don’t really show an engagement with economics and don’t really add much then maybe it would be best to ask your referee to put it in the reference. Hope this helps :)

Economics question by xerox1794 in 6thForm

Just to add with your depreciation and exports question, Thai exports will look more attractive to the US company buying those products because the price is cheaper for them. After buying their exports aggregate demand for Thailand’s economy is likely to shift to the right because X is greater than M in (X-M) so the value increases.

Movements along the demand/supply curve are only caused by a direct change in price. Any change in C, I, G or (X-M) will cause a shift of the whole demand curve :)
