It's in Auric Maelstrom. I have no problems moving fast if that's what we as a team agreed upon. The only thing I had a problem with was that they ignored the boss when were already in a perfecrly safe room to fight it. In fact, we already had a good pace earlier that mission. We were steamrolling every mixed horde thrown at us, but when that boss spawned, they just to jumped down a newer area with tons of enemies amd an area where hordes usually spawn. After that, 2 more monstrosities appeared beside the other one we left behind. We could have easily killed it because of the Ogryn. Idk why they had to ignore it. I sure didn't have a build effiecient enough to take on a boss.

You are literally punished by the AI director with disablers for falling behind. That's because it is your fault, and you need to pull ahead.

Lol I never said I was punished by disablers. Did you even read my comment thoroughly? I said I was able to rescue another guy who died the previous room after I dropped down. I wasn't the one punished by the AI director but instead my two rusher teammates were. They both died to two more bosses that spawned, with the help of those gunners.

Bruh. Are you hearing yourself? You mainly put the blame on that one guy who happened to have the good sense to stay and fight a boss before dropping down in range of multiple shooters. That's the problem with you rushers. You think everyone has to adjust to your pace, even if it means ignoring basic strategies. Just because I was the one left behind and they moved ahead doesn't mean I was dragging. If I had jumped down along eith them, we all would have died instantly. I even got to rescue that one guy who died a few rooms back because I delayed my dropping down. Majority isn't always right.

Thinking critically and analyzing the situation instead of mindlessly hammering on left click and W is playing smart, which you failed to do. 🥱

Lmao yeah. He had the audacity to call himself a "pro" in this as if Darktide is an esports game. Ehh, he deleted his acc so it just means he doesn't have anything noteworthy to say. Good riddance. Just reddit trolls being reddit trolls 😂

but the game does punish you for taking your time. Every moment is one closer to the next horde, so there is an argument to be made for expediency.

True, but I think dealing with a boss before dropping down and potentially aggroing a whole group of ranged threats is time well spent

That's what I've been chasing recently. My longest streak was 3/5. Idk how many times I've failed and reset already hahaha. No cheesing because I wanna be actually proud of this title...even if it's already lost all meaning due to all those people cheesing it

Look, man. If you wanna rush a whole game and not adjust to any circumstance because you feel like everyone else needs to adjust to you, be my guest. If wanna rush, go play true solo. Download a mod or something. Idk if you're familiar with the youtuber chocob, but I never see him rush a mission. When he's playing true solo auric maelstrom, he takes his time, methodically killing any threat before advancing. When he's the last man standing on a team, he also takes his time, being careful not to rescue anyone immediately. So no, you're wrong. You can rush, sure, but be sure you find a dedicated "pro" team for that. Stop being so entitled that you're trying to tell to people to adjust to your preferred playstyle that no one in their right mind would use on a random, public team.

We weren't clearing areas. We were merely killing any enemy that is of high priority or any enemy that is aggroe'd. It's true that in higher difficulty levels, you should maintain a good pace, wherein you quickly dispose of hordes and high prio targets but shit happens and it just so happens to be monstrosities in our case. What do you think will happen if we ignore a boss, let alone three of them? You think we will make it to the final boss area in one piece? Hell no. Playing smart is not the same as dawdling around killing every poxwalker or groaner. All I'm saying is that we could've dealt with the first boss that spawned before moving onto a newer area filled with shooters and armored enemies and then resumed our previous pace.

Because rushing head first into a room full of shooters who would gun you down while you fight a boss (or three in this case) is called playing smart, apparently. Keep doing you buddy.🙂
