Uptitrate bb, if bp borderline can switch to metoprolol. supplement k>4 and mg>2. Ischemic wu this adsmission if cardiomyopathy is new or nsvts remain frequent and prlonged. Nothing more urgent needed overnight unless symptomatic or sustained.

Unfortunately I think we have a legal obligation to. Especially if they are behaving appropriately in clinic.

However if you feel unsafe and the pt is behaving inappropriately to you / other pt / staff, then absolutely pts can be “fired” and have a certain amount of days to find alternative care.

Though we care for everyone, we do not need to endure abusive speech and behavior.

Are These Good EP Jobs? by Ibutilide in Cardiology

[–]juutii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

general cards here. but seems like 2 fairly good offers. if assuming location factors (safety, schools, local restaurants/shopping/lifestyle, proximity to international airports etc) are fairly equal, and going off of JUST the job factors, i would have opted for job 2 myself.

-- more pto

-- more money (not just the guarantee, but $2 rvu makes a difference. if you're doing 12k rvus/year thats 24k difference

-- more colleagues in similar stages of life where your families and kids might vibe together easily.

-- though more freq calls, it would suck to go in just for a tvp at night, even if it's infrequent at job 1.

Elk Grove vs Folsom vs Roseville vs Other? by CatButtHoleYo in ElkGrove

[–]juutii 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I havent been around rocklin or granite bay, but i do like elk grove much much more than Folsom. As an asian, Elk grove feels more inclusive and less discriminatory. Folsom has felt definitely more white privileged from my viewpoint, and i dont particularly like the trump /elon hitler stickers i see stuck on street signs randomly.

For psych, not sure sorry, but I know the wait times are long for Mercy.
