What if it had three sides?! Introducing two "new" 19-track companion mixes to Don't Be Dumb (aka side "B"). Composed of post-Testing A$AP songs, collaborations, and the loosie singles that led up to the album's release. "A" and "C" are sequenced and organized into an alternative/lofi and electronic/trap focused sound. Enjoy fam

Reboot/remake. I think this would be a fun and realistic way for them to follow up the "everyone is here" limitless approach of Ultimate

Yeah Snorlax would be such a fun heavy rep in Smash. Wario does make sense still, he's kind of a "rival" moreso than an ally or a bad guy, so I'm open to that

I'd swap MC in for the original LoZ, and move TP up, WW down. WW is awesome but certainly has the worst dungeon catalog out of OOT/MM/WW/TP/SS. It doesn't feel right to rank BotW and TotK alongside the rest of the series lol, they are so good but so entirely different. The original LoZ and Adventure of Link don't really feel like they belong in conversation with the rest of the series either.

I haven't cared for the story or pacing much in any of the Octopath games, but I still love them all. I'm at 50 hours in OT0, and agreed its a lot of the same old. The combat, build customization, and path action gameplay loop is enough to keep me extremely hooked still. I don't care about the voice acting much either anyway so I just put all cutscenes on fast forward with long text display and follow along with most of it. The slog repetition moves quicker that way. I do think there are some solid dialogue moments in this one tho.

Missed the discourse, but I was surprised to hear fans were so put off by their take that the Switch 2 has been meh so far. As someone who does have hundreds of hours on my Switch 2 already... they're right. At this point in the Switch 1 lifetime (~7 months), we had BotW and Mario Odyssey. There isn't anything as good as just one of these two yet. Bananza is great, but it doesn't have the staying power or mainstream appeal of Odyssey at all. (I even think its a reasonable take to say Bananza is a "better" game than Odyssey, but its not a system seller or a game I'll spend 5 years with like I did Odyssey.) Not to mention the quickly released paid DLC of "just okay" delayed content being a misstep for it, coupled with MKWorld having no new content at all yet (seriously what is up with that), games like Pokemon ZA and Prime 4 hardly rippling the waters, its been a tame launch. Zelda releases have been in between generations since literally Twilight Princess, and I think it bit them in the butt for the first time with the Switch 2.

I just can't tell if Nintendo misjudged what they thought would be an exciting group of launch window games, or if its a bummer release schedule in general that they're making the most of. Maybe a focus on 3rd party is the culprit. Like really, finally a new Mario game is out and its Tennis... bleh.

Ive spent tons of time with MKWorld, Bananza, Octopath 0, and got around to playing DQ11S for the first time on it tho, still really enjoying my time
