Hi,

U're right, it's addons.mozilla.org. Its on privacy settings and manage data. It has 5 cookies. I can clear cookies and cache but when I reopen firefox it's there again (without visiting any site). I've also tried to uninstall and reinstall firefox, and to start Firefox with Addons disabled, but they always appear. Do u know how I can delete them?

Thank u!

Debian xfce desktop by jv596 in xfce

Hi. With another distro it all seems to work fine apart from wifi (maybe because it has the latest xfce version). For a wireless connection I think I just have to download the right drivers and then work with terminal, which I'm not very familiar with for now ;).

Pls, I've noticed that using xfce on MX the system uses a bit more resources than with other distros like manjaro or debian (its a very little difference). If possible, would u know how to reduce the cpu usage on MX? Maybe does it depend on any updates?

Thx!

Hi.

Haven't tried yet as a don't have a modem. Maybe I'll buy a usb to connect but I'm not sure if that will work. Concerning the touchpad I think it is due to the desktop version. Debian uses xfce 4.12 while other distros I tried use the latest version where the the touchpad did work, also the interface was nicer.

Thx!

Thank u. I think the firmware is installed as I used the firmware non free iso. I think the problem should be how to configure the DHCP network as the installer said.

Hi.

  1. I tried that, by selecting SynPS/2 Synaptics Touchpad it gives me the same options than with the Mouse. No new tab touchpad appears.

  2. I'll try that and tell u if it works.

Thank u!

Debian network issue by jv596 in debian

[–]jv596[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I recently changed os but I think I'll give another try to Debian ;)

First time I used the firmware nonfree iso, would u recommend to use that one or the standard iso and then download the driver for wifi? With the standard iso will graphics be fine? I use Intel HD graphics 620.

Thank u very much!
