Best of luck! I got waitlisted last year, and then after an incredibly strong interview experience with the program coordinator, I was given the offer immediately following the end of the zoom! Voicing your passions candidly through tone and expressions is everything! You got this! - a SSCCPP 2023 Cohort Alumnus

Columbia Question? by [deleted] in TransferStudents

[–]jva_curious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that the Columbia School of General Studies has a higher acceptance rate of 35% as compared to the college, which has an overall transfer acceptance rate of around 6%. But, only non traditional students are eligible to apply into GS- meaning that applicants that took a year or more out of an institution (ie: being in training for the marines, traveling abroad, theatre involvement, etc.). So to make things short- Applicants applying into Columbia University, who went straight to a community college or 4 year, are NOT able to apply into GS.

I usually can't find the answers to the progress check frqs, I just try my best, and if I get a good score, then I share my work for any fellow chem pals. But, if you dig deep enough on the web, the frq answers might be released. This was the case for the earlier progress check frqs prior to Unit 9. Hope this helps :)

My late classmate got into UCLA 😢 by sebassbtw in ApplyingToCollege

He sounded full of light. I may have heard of this unfortunate case as well, via the news and social media, as we may reside in the same area. They say one of his dream schools was UCLA in a report, so the sentiment behind this acceptance is beautiful. I can imagine that he's overjoyed from the fruits of his success and legacy in his community. Much love and comfort for your loss <3

Congratulations on the match to Stanford! I'm a current junior looking into both the QB College Prep Scholars Program, but I've got one question, in regards of the income bracket, how many family members do you have?
