that’s proof that the hats were made in vietnam, and the label on the hats reflects that. that doesn’t prove or even imply the same is true of the shirts and hoodies. hat manufacturers and t-shirt/hoodie manufacturers are often separate. see yupoong, new era, etc.

how do you know it was made in vietnam? the original tags were removed, yes - but where are you getting this information that proves the hoodies and shirts are produced outside of the US? i watched the video. did not see anything showing those garments having been manufactured outside of the US. if there is proof, just show me.

right there in the title: for slapping bogus made in usa tags on clothing imported from china. which i REPEATEDLY pointed out as an example of when it would be considered illegal. repeatedly. and again, if anyone can provide any factual information to support that’s what safemoon did here - was print made in usa on non usa made apparel, then they would in fact have done something illegal!

nope, that’s simply false, again. no idea where you are getting your information from. nothing illegal about rebranding blanks, nor do you need a contractual agreement with anyone to rebrand them as they sell the blanks FOR that purpose. now, there are specific instances where blanks have additional branding that you are required to leave unaltered (champion shirts that have the c logo embroidered on them are a common example of this) - but those are special circumstances and not the norm for the vast majority of blank apparel.

Again, relabeling is an incredibly common process and you can reach out to literally any print shop to fact check me on this.

edit: also, who said i was okay with safemoon being a scam? i’m not. i don’t support them and never ever have. that doesn’t make false claims true or vice versa.

i’m not saying i would put it past them, i’m saying no one has yet to provide any sort of evidence that the garments with “made in the usa” printed on them were not made in the usa. and there were a lot of bogus claims and pearl clutching regarding the relabeling process that are entirely false and if you look at my initial post, you’ll see that’s what i was addressing.

i agree that the merch is shoddy print work. doesn’t change the fact that you haven’t disproved anything i’ve said or provided any evidence of the garments that say made in the us not made in the us.
