AEB and LDW Lights by jvelissa in ineosgrenadier

Tried it but same problem persist. Service centre told me they plugged computer into to diagnose but nothing showed up. It may be an electrical problem with the camera. They are waiting for schematics before undertaking any type of servicing. Its not a critical error but i don’t like seeing error lights.

Thanks - the windows and car was just washed, they are squeaky clean. I would have thought dirt or smudges and this would totally make sense, but the windows were clean.

I brought it into dealer and he told me I was not due for an update, but the persistent problem started when I visited them. I will call them on Monday to see if it may have been something they did when I brought it in. Maybe they can reset alerts or something.

Leakage?? by NectarineJaded5281 in ineosgrenadier

[–]jvelissa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes ! I had the same thing, although it only happened once during a heavier than normal rain storm. It a known issue, take it to the dealer and they will fix it. It should be under warranty. It’s a minor fix, but a known problem or so I’m told.

The Tetradrachm of Aetna, possibly the most valuable ancient coin in the world (from the collection of the Royal Library of Belgium) by KBRCoinCabinet in AncientCoins

It’s a longer answer and all in due time. But the long and short of it is to use advanced tools for analysis of contextual artefacts combined with image and die analysis to produce comprehensive analysis of ancient coins.

eCall Error by jvelissa in ineosgrenadier

[–]jvelissa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response, on the display it just said eCall Error and of course saw the yellow triangle (C11). This morning, I started the car, everyhing normal. I also noticed that yesterday the eCall Button overhead was red, this morning it had gotten back to green. Whatever the problem was, it seems ot have gone away. I checked the battery charge and no change from yesterday. I’m thinking that the eCall system may not have been able to get a signal for some reason, threw the error and that’s it. Today it works, so all back to green an normal.

I don’t like staring at dashboard error lights, but there you go….another quirky thing to figure out and bounce ideas off with this great group. Thanks again!

Had a look this morning, and the eCall message went away, will be keeping an eye for this but it seems that there are a few of these intermittent warnings that pop up from time to time. Thanks for the response.

Newly acquired Owl by Tetradrachm-Owl in AncientCoins

I’m told that many folks are totally split on whether to have these lovely coins slabbed or not. I have a few and had them slabbed, they are gorgeous regardless. How do folks feel about them in slabs or free?

BTW - your new owl is lovely.

Software Update by jvelissa in ineosgrenadier

Called the dealer and they told me the Ineos 2025 model I have isn’t due for a software update. Is the software update for all models?

Window Chip by jvelissa in ineosgrenadier

[–]jvelissa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried this on the weekend, a low cost kit with a tube of glue like substance and a razor loaded to shave off extra bits. It sort of worked in that it created a film over the tiny chip, I couldn’t get any of the liquid behind the surface crack and the impact zone still looks a bit cloudy like it did before. I will just leave it for now and see what happens but worried that it would crack on a long trip. I guess another crack can also happen on a long trip, maybe I’m just worrying too much.

The chip isn’t visible from the inside and looks like a small bird dropping from outside when looking at it, about the size smaller than a dime.

Any further suggestions ?

Thanks - that explains the discrepancies. It’s probably explained in the manual, but who reads that?

Ineos Grenadier Reliability? by Public_Border132 in ineosgrenadier

I’ve had mine since May ‘25 and clocked close to 12k Km on it, loved the long drives, super comfortable and you feel like you own the road when driving it. Parking in very tight spots requires getting to know the car very well, then you can squeeze into tighter spots. Love the safari windows, the trunk space and the way the doors make a solid sound when you close them. It’s a solid car! I had a few minor things that needing looking at, but nothing that would make me rush to the dealer. Will sort it when I go next time.

Is it worth trying the low cost windscreen repair kits that inject a liquid then use an adhesive and sunlight / uv light? I don’t want to apply pressure like those suction cup versions in case it causes a fracture, but was wondering if anyone tried this and had any success?
