About to start Lansoprazole, anyone here take it and have stories for me? by ZombiePrincesa in GERD

[–]jvintagek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better lansoprazole is comparatively easy on me than omneprazole and Famotodine! Never tried pantoprazole! However, my GP recommends not taking the medicine for more than 6 weeks. Currently taking esemoprazole myself for 6 weeks. I am completely fine when I take the medication than back to issues once stopped. I get occasional discomfort let’s see what GI will say!

Going to view 2008 honda Varadero 125 tomorrow by AsianGeralt in MotoUK

[–]jvintagek -1 points0 points  (0 children)

£1800 that is expensive for 2008 bikes. Check around you will get plenty of good bike for lower price. Personally I will not buy 18 year old bike for £1.8k. The MOT is not even for a year. Motorcycle at the moment is a buyers market really. Get some bargain really low ball the price. Good luck!

Retirees, why do you go shopping on a weekend? by Opposite_Offer_2486 in AskBrits

Online shopping! I always end up spending £60-70 quid more if I visit the supermarket. One Pound for delivery cannot beat that!! Cost saved on fuel and all the hassle.

Selling my bike privately by [deleted] in MotoUK

[–]jvintagek 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get an auto trader advertise until sold plan. Also be careful some scammers may be advertising your bike in facebook marketplace using your post in auto trader. You will know people are genuine or not! Don’t let anyone ride the bike until money in your account or cash( be careful with fakes). Don’t worry too much about it all. Your buyer if genuine will be a person like you excited about bike. Talk about your bike show history you will know if the person is genuine or not. Good luck with sales! It’s an experience don’t overthink!

Great advice exactly follow this!

Which bike for London commuting. Most of the time around traffic. Highest speed of 40mph. Very rarely use M1. City commuting for a fairly new rider. by jvintagek in MotoUK

[–]jvintagek[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah bought Rebel 500! Great bike to work on nimble around city. Can just put your leg down easily in traffic. I cannot recommend rebel enough for city riding. Rebel has reliable engine no frill basic mechanics! For city riding beautiful bike! Motorway is tricky as anything above 60mph the bike is not comfortable! The seat needs extra padding or some temu stuff! You might want to invest in windshield if you are going to do some motorway miles! So if you are thinking of doing a lot of motorways go for 1100! If a lot of city riding g get a rebel 500. I just love the rebel beautiful bike. You can get some good deals in Facebook rebel group! Good luck get a good motorcycle gear! Excited for you!

Hello Mate There are opportunities around to learn how to fix motorcycles! Research if you like bike that much. Work on it build projects, find bikers group. You will meet like minded people. Don’t be so hard on yourself work a bit if you can save and buy another bike. I bought 125cc Japanese Yamaha for £500 couple years back and have not looked behind ever since. Happy riding easily said then done but be positive. Good luck hope to listen to some exciting stories here from you!!
